Water Europe Policy Workshop: Water Strategy

On 12th October, Water Europe organized an online workshop for its members about Water & Trade policy with the objective to inform our members on this new initiative and gather their inputs on the topic.

This new tool provides a new opportunity to Water Europe's members to contribute to the advocacy programme and provide inputs to the Policy Advisory Committee and the Secretariat, in addition to the information collected from Working Groups, representatives in the PAC, publications, and projects.

Following up the discussion, it came up that standardization, data interoperability, implementation of smart-solutions, policy coherence and water-efficiency as challenges on the topic Water & Trade.

A next policy workshop is coming up on the 8th of November that will be dedicated to the Water-Strategy within the next European Commission.
